Ehmagosh!

Two of Roxi’s friends threw a big surprise party for her yesterday evening at a fun arcade/restaurant near our house. I haven’t been able to talk about it on this blog for fear she would find out. It really was a surprise! I wasn’t sure if she knew and was just playing along, but either she is a very good actress or she truly was surprised. The girls made her a wonderful scrapbook with notes from each of the attendees and photos spanning seven years. There was even a page for me, boo hoo. I couldn’t read the book at the party, but believe me, Roxi and I spent a long time looking at it when we got home.

Yesterday, we had a slew of visitors: Mr. DJ’s mom, dad, and youngest brother and my dad. Roxi got a few really nice early birthday presents from Grandma and Grandpa. Wow!

Saturday, Mr. DJ and I met with his friend again (the one we had lunch with the other day). She spoke with her friends in England who suggested we look at Cambridge as a place to live. I think I would love that! We will definitely check it out. BTW, do you have Google Earth? If not, you MUST get it. We’ve used it to look at neighborhoods and just to have geeky fun.

Revelation of the day: We are moving out of this house in a week. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
