Where to live…..

Roxi, age 5, Four Season Hotel, Vancouver, B.C., Fuji Digital

Above is the whole reason Roxi’s favorite hotel is the Four Seasons. Upon arrival, she received a big smiley face chocolate chip cookie “Made Just for You” with a big milk bottle, and other goodies. It made quite the impression. Well, that and the very nice suite we had didn’t hurt either.

Today, Mr. DJ found out that the UK office is still working on his paperwork. Grrrr. Meanwhile, we are forging ahead with our plans, because once the papers go through, they are going to want him ASAP. His last day at his current employer is Friday.

I reserved a 10’x30’ storage place for our stuff that is staying here. We’re still waiting to hear from the relocation company.

Spending hours looking at properties in London is depressing. The places are SO small. I told Mr. DJ we need to start thinking of these places as really big hotel suites instead of homes or flats. It makes it marginally better.

When I start feeling sad about our housing options, I look at this book. It reminds me why it’ll be fine once we get there.
