What about me, you ask?

From our walk in Windsor Great Park a couple of weeks ago.

Many of you have wondered what I am up to now that Roxi is in school full time. Well, other than puttering around the house, waiting for deliveries, getting to know my computer again, and doing a bit more unpacking, not a whole lot art-wise. It’s a shame, really, since I have eight good hours in which to produce some wonderful, eye-popping masterpiece. Ha ha. No, due to limited space and lack of supplies due to lack of car, I have my excuses all wrapped up and tidy.

Actually, I am still in the thinking phase of what I want to do with my time here. One of the things that I promised myself is that I wouldn’t fill up my time with outside activities until I take a little time out to think about what is it I really want to do in the next three years. Plus, if I start filling up my time here before we get settled, we’ll never get all the way unpacked!

I’ve been cooking a lot here. I mean cooking all the way from scratch, which was something I rarely did in Texas because we had activities scheduled all the time. Since the weather has been so nice, I have been fantasizing about getting a grill. I even had one picked out on Amazon.co.uk, but they were sold out AFTER I placed my order. Once we get a car, a grill will be our first purchase. Oh, I have forgotten how much I like to cook. I still hate washing the dishes, though.
