Sleep

You know, after nine hours of sleep, I feel just about normal again. Roxi hit the sack about 7:15 last night. I think Mr. DJ got about seven hours of shut eye–he had to travel to The Hague yesterday evening, a few hours after we got home.
Today, I meet with someone at our new place to get the keys. I’m so excited!! I told Roxi I would take her to the house after school since she hasn’t seen the inside yet.
I am am trying to resist the urge to unpack the six huge suitcases we brought back from Texas. We pulled out a few things, but for the most part, we’ll just take them “as is” to the new place this weekend. Our current property management company asked to show this house tomorrow about noon. I warned them that we have boxes and suitcases everywhere, but they didn’t seem to care. Okaaay…
I’m making beef and veggie soup for dinner. It’s about 40-degrees with a light rain today, in other words, great soup weather!

Perfect soup weather! You might have gotten some good sleep, but it doesn’t sound like you’ll be getting much of a break for a while. Have fun!
Laurie–It was good soup too. But for some reason, I managed to wait until I got back to England before my body demanded some good ole gumbo. Darn it!
