So much to do today

Door knocker, Prague, Czech Republic, October 2007. Prague’s doors have the most beautiful hardware on them. I couldn’t stop taking pictures, especially of the locks.
.
I’ve got a party to put together and a few things to “stash and dash”. I’m turning our library/guestroom into the sleeping den and our conservatory is video game central. The dining room table will be loaded down with food (both junky and healthy) and I, I shall be in my studio getting it all straighted up whilst the girls party on. There will only be three of them altogether. Tomorrow is a “girl day”–that means shopping, lunch and a movie. I love girl days.
.
It’s raining today, about 50-something-ish.
.
Two more days until Trudy arrives. Is it bad luck to do a count down?

Not bad luck at all! Count away. I can’t wait to have “girl days” with The Magnificent Ava. :)

Laurie–A girl is never too young to enjoy a girl day. I am certain you and Ava will have so much fun :-)

Mine recently suggested that we have a shopping day…….she likes to go to Anthropologie with me. Well, yeah! And it’s cold (low 40s to mid 50s) and rainy here, too. We haven’t seen but 20 seconds of sun in daaaaaayyys. Our winters can be like that, which is why I painted my house GREEN! Mimsy

Mimsy–Mmmmm. Anthropologie… The sun came out later today and we had a true blue sky and a sun too bright for our moley eyes.

I LOVE your green house and all the other yummy colors inside. Happy colors!
