Another food post–guess I wasn’t done yet

I made these delicate sugar cookies for the International Festival at Roxi’s school on Friday.
I’m on my way to meet Bee for a little foodie jaunt in London. I will share more tomorrow :-)
Here’s a little something in the meantime: Yesterday, Matt Armendariz of the blog Matt Bites posted “Anything in a Tortilla“–too funny and too delicious (yuuum–Larb Gai!).
I have to admit the weirdest thing I’ve done with a flour tortilla is to fold it up, toast it, and then put in a slice of American cheese (something I’ve not eaten in almost two years) and a smear of barbecue sauce. It’s strangely good.

Have a lovely day in London. Those cookies look professional.
Actually sounds quite good.
But why not M&S 'cornish cruncher' cheddar – which I failed to buy why last in England.
Christine–It was fun… and thank you!
Elizabeth–I've not done the toasted tortillas with cheese bit here, mainly because I make my own tortillas in small batches and there are never any just sitting around. But thanks for the cheese recommendation! I so love English cheese and am always happy to try a new one. I will pick some up next time I'm in M&S.
Hmmm…I have tortillas…I have BBQ sauce…I have cheese. Off I go…
Laurie–Did you like it? I made a couple for lunch today with two leftover flour tortillas from my Asado adventure. It tasted so good with English Cheddar and BBQ sauce. I did cheat and make it in a pan instead of the toaster. A strange quesadilla, I guess!
That does sound really delicious!
Alyson–Well, if you try it, let me know what you think :-)
Those cookies look positively perfect — and I love the Martha Stewart styled plate!
Bee–That plate is Burleigh. I had never seen the black and white until I visited their factory shop last year. I would love to go back!
