I haven’t done a thing today

Woke up, made coffee, took the girl to school, checked blogs, tried to re-arrange some things in Blogger, made a mess, fixed lunch, took a nap (!), ran over to school to drop off Roxi’s ballet tights, and am only now starting to get in gear for the day.

Just in time for sunset.
Sigh.
Is anyone else having trouble deleting Blogger gadgets?
I think I need a cup of tea.

Sounds like you’ve earned the tea. Enjoy.

  2. Pigtown-Design says:

i don’t like all of those blogger gadgets. it junks up the look of the blog.

  3. Bee says:

Are you doing anything tonight? I just booked tickets for us to go see Quantum of Solace — Sigmund’s choice. “Easy Virtue” would be more to my taste.

It is amazing how quickly the hours go when you are home all day. I remember desk jobs when each 15 minute increment seemed painfully slow.

  4. Christine says:

If I don’t have a plan for the day, I end up not accomplishing too much, but isn’t that good sometimes? You just renewed yourself today!

  5. Chris says:

I love my gadgets! I never seem to have trouble deleting them. Were you successful at all with getting rid of the ones you don’t want?

  6. Just a Plane Ride Away says:

    Grandpa–Thanks!

P-D–Well, I found out what was wrong. It was my browser. Grr.

Bee–No, we’re taking it easy tonight. We’re going to a play at Roxi’s school tomorrow evening, though. And yes, isn’t that the truth about office work and working in or around the house?

Christine–I think I really needed that nap. Thanks for helping me to remember the good in it :-)

Chris–I was! It was my browser (Google Chrome). I’ve gone back to IE and it all deleted without trouble.

  7. Brave Sir Robin says:

Oh Bee – I want to see Quantum!

    Sorry.

I’m sure Easy Virtue is wonderful.

In fact, I’m pretty sure I dated her.

  8. Laurie says:

    I love naps.

  9. Dots says:

some days are best slow :)

  10. Barrie says:

It’s good to have a slow day from time to time. Or even more often!

  11. Cathy says:

    Hello there
Came to you via Barbara B’s blog.
I have those days also – don’t have much ‘junk’ on my blog for the reason I’m hopeless at putting it on and taking it off lol
    Take care
    Cathy

  12. Just a Plane Ride Away says:

    BSR–I’d like to see both!

Laurie–I do too, but it throws off my sleep schedule. And it makes me feel a little guilty…

    Dots–It’s true :-)

Barrie–One CAN get used to them!

Cathy–Hello, so glad you stopped by. Isn’t frustrating when things don’t work as they should?

  13. Akelamalu says:

I don’t seem to get through very much when I’m at home all day, I just mooch about!

  14. Just a Plane Ride Away says:

Akelamalu–Well, I’m glad I’m not the only one! It’s good to relax some days, isn’t it?

  15. david mcmahon says:

Yes, definitely make a cup of tea – but make it Darjeeling, because that’s where I went to school!

  16. Just a Plane Ride Away says:

David–Darjeeling it is! And next time I have a cup I will think about what it must have been like to live there…
