Tats really nice idea…. Hope all will like it…

Ha! I especially love that it is “dry” white wine. It looks like you’ve a fabulous vacation in Barcelona too. Nice sunny photos! I loved your post on how England feels like home – we were feeling that way last year too. You capture that pre-nostalgia so well.
Did you try it?
Err, do the French know about this?
:(
Andy–Well, I guess it would come in handy for a picnic…
Sarah–LOL Isn’t that funny! Yes, we did have such a wonderful, sunny time in Barcelona. I am still basking in the after glow. I think a mid-winter sun break is just what we all needed.
Tryig to Remember it All–Hee hee. Yes, we tried the white wine. And actually, it wasn’t horrible. I used most of it in some Chicken Fajita marinade and it was good ;-)
Anonymous Friend–Haha!! I am not sure. I am not a wine connoisseur, (I have such a low tolerance for alcohol–it puts me to sleep!), but I did think “can o’ wine” was just too good to pass up. One day, maybe I’ll be brave enough to buy the plastic bottles (yes, like water bottles) of wine.
This is certainly a new one on me!
But so were plastic ‘corks’ which are sort of OK.
Weird though.
that’s hilarious! Wine in a can sounds interesting to say the least!
Yuck! Oh, wait, i don’t like wine anyway…
this is too funny, i never would have thought…
I remember JP’s horror the first time he saw wine in a plastic bottle. Actually it was in France, and it was, of course an ordinaire…we drank it every day as a table wine and it was ok…tasted worse.
Elizabeth–There are plastic corks and screw tops here. I actually like the screw tops. Less pressure to drink the whole bottle!
Lucy Lucia–I HAD to get them!
Emm–I am not a big wine drinker (zzzz), but the white wasn’t too bad.
I (heart) NY–I know! I really need to get the wine in the plastic bottles now.
Moannie–Yes, exactly! Ordinaire. I’ve had more expensive wines that had, let us say, too much character (blech). I do not know my wines, but I do know that French table wine is very drinkable. We had some decent table wine in Barcelona. Is that ok to admit?
So funny! The first time I saw this was about 15 years ago and I was at a wedding in Southport, on the Irish Sea.
The church had a full bar!!! And they also had wine in a can. I was so shocked that I actually took an empty can home with me to the States because I’d never seen it before!
It was crap wine, but the concept made me laugh.
Blasphemy. Blech.
oh my gosh. i really thought
that this might have been photoshopped or something…
interesting, I’ve heard about them in juice type boxes but not cans. Wonder if they’re better for the environment?
P-D–Maybe I should keep that can! It really is kind of a nice one. LOL!
Fantastic-Forrest–Incroyable, non?
Hanna–Welcome! That is so funny that you thought that. I’m good, but not that good ;-)
Christine–Wine in a juice box?! That sounds rather dangerous. I’ve had “Box o’ Wine” before, though, so maybe that’s what you’re talking about? Wait, when you say juice box, are you talking individual juice box with a sippy straw? That’s what I’m picturing. And of course, my brain has now made the leap to wine in a Capri Sun pouch. Haha!
is that legal?
Did you taste it? For me, there’s a real difference between fountain diet coke and diet coke in a can. Just wondering about wine…
Chris–Haha!
Barrie–I did. It was ok. I can’t remember it tasting particularly tinny or anything like that. I think the difference with fountain coke and the canned stuff is the artificial sweetener, isn’t it?
