I'm not too clear on what a drama school will look at (most probably auditions of some sort), but art schools want the good grades, good activities and a great portfolio! I can't imagine that Roxi being on a softball team would add any discernable advantage. She will prove her ability to juggle different responsibilities by taking the AP (or IB) courses, involvement in the school drama productions and some kind of volunteer activities with a club(s) or what have you. Chris–Interestingly, the HS head spent most of the meeting talking with my daughter and I was, you know, just there. It is nice to see my daughter making these decisions. I think she chose wisely.

A Modern Mother–Hurray! We mad American style pancakes, but then ended up rolling them up like crepes. My six year old nephew (from Texas) said, “Aunt JaPRA, Can I please have another tortilla with chocolate on it?” He must think we eat some funky tortillas here in England. LOL!
