Ok I am glad I am not the only one! I always want to know where I am looking at or what the person is doing or how they are related to the blogger!

This is a great picture! I went to England once as a teenager and it was life changing. I would love to go back someday. We went to a girl scout camp in West Sussex with girl and boy scouts from all over the world. I met some amazing people. I had a host family that I stayed with a few weeks before who were amazing. Everyone in England is so nice!!

My pic, is a pond in my town that I go to when I need a break. The statue in the back is honoring William Allen White, who was a newspaper man from where I live.

It’s the one thing I will miss about this city when I move!!

    Nice to meet you!

Rocksee, your comment made me smile! How wonderful that you have such a peaceful place to get away, even for a few moments. Your pond actually looks rather English!

My photo was taken last week in The Hague, Netherlands, where my family and I will be moving next month. We’ve been in England for 2+ years and have really loved it. We love the NL too, so though we are sad to be leaving the UK, we’re looking forward to new adventures.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

PS My daughter is “Roxi”! I just realized that’s your name too ;-)

Ah…beautiful England! I’m definitely going back one day. Happy Wednesday.

I was thinking “Oh, England’s so great” and then I read further down that it’s the Netherlands. Ha. All of that old stuff looks the same to me! I’m much better at things like picking out that I know for a fact that Office Space was filmed in Dallas. Really, I could spot that, but I see an old building and I think it’s a whole other country.

Oh, I’m looking forward to MANY more bike pictures with your move. No pressure or anything.

  6. Emm says:

That is really lovely. I think I’ll get coffee somehwere at lunch time and dream of cycling one day in NL. :)

I hope I can still remember to ride a bike.

Super shot! I love the Netherlands, I’m sure you will too.

  9. Nice shot. It’s ben far too long since I visited the Netherlands. Happy WW

  10. What luck to capture that single rider alone in the frame, and such a great looking frame it is, too.

  12. Cool photo! I can see you gearing up for life on a bike in the NL. Your blog loads really slowly from page to page.

What a beautiful place, but I wouldn’t wish to ride alone. Happy WW.

First off, your website is amazing! I could never do something like this!

I am totally jealous, you live in the UK. I have ALWAYS wanted to visit there, but when you’re the daughter of cop and hairdresser, you don’t get to travel much :( But hopefully one day when my hubby is done with school we can travel and the UK is first on my list!

I found your blog through Rocksees, and I will so be back to visit again!

    • Hi Cat! I’m so glad you stopped by :-)

I just popped over to your blog and you sound like you have a wonderful life and a very happy family! And I loved the letter to your teenage self.

I know you’ll make it to the UK one day soon. After all, you just “put it out there” ;-)
