That really gets my imagination going, I wonder what is being written?
Ah, the mystery… sometimes it is best left to the imagination :-)
I need a book like that to write down my Random Tuesday Thoughts.
Kat, my daughter has been keeping a journal of sorts (art and words) since she was old enough to hold a pencil. We LOVE our journals and never leave home without them :-)
I think I like the idea of Random Tuesdays!
Love the blacks, silvers, greys etc in the pic and then that red pen!!!
Ollie, thanks! It was just one of those happy discoveries :-)
I think cafes are magical places where you can load up on your favorite cuppa joe, listen to music, read, write, … be.
Yeah. Groovy.
Stephanie, I think so too. And the Cafes in The Hague are wonderful, especially in fine weather!
I love your blog, it’s gorgeous, I might go for a wordless Monday to Friday soon. I’ve given you an award back at my blog, please drop by and collect x
Lol! I know what you mean. This is a hectic time of year, isn’t it?
Thank you for the lovely award!! In such fine company too :-)
I love the touch of red and the composition is eye catching. :)
Thank you, Eaton! The red pencil was my favourite part…
Can it be wordless Wednesday if words are written? Cool photo. Is that Roxi?
Hi Sarah, good eye! Yes, that is Roxi with all her cool jewellery. And I’ve seen lots of takes on Wordless Wednesday, but it seems like “wordless” is the way to go. It was hard to keep quiet for the first couple of posts (hahah!), but I like the mystery of having just the photo. It’s like art, then… open to interpretation :-)
I love those moments. When you’ve got a thought you just can’t wait to jot down.
Barrie, we always carry our journals with us :-)
The red pen makes the shot!
I think so too, Maddog!
I needed a real life Wordless Wednesday yesterday – I’ll have a little sign, “Please don’t expect a response, I’m participating in a Wordless Wednesday. All queries (yep, reading my English Chick lit) will be responded to promptly at 8 am on Thursday. Thank You”
Haha! Let me know if it works for you ;-)
What are you reading? I just finished re-reading Jane Eyre.
Okay, I need to read Jane Eyre. The last three books I read: Thanks for the Memories by Cecelia Ahern (LOVED it), Wedding Season by Katie Fforde (don’t judge me) and right now I’m reading Careless in Red by Elizabeth George (lots of big words but good).
I love Roxi’s style. It is so cool that you have captured her “at work” here.
OK, if I maximise the photo i can just about discern what is being written on the top corner, left-hand side…
No, I’d rather just enjoy the picture. Have a nice weekend :-).
A Cuban In London, you of all people would appreciate what she was writing on there… shall I tell you?
Miss you!
