He was this wonderfully unaffected and confident guy and had changed into a pair of Daffy Duck sleeping shorts when it was clear that we actually were going to stay up all night talking (before all that... other stuff started, you know). And he went to the kitchen to get some water at about 3am and that was how he met my mum! Oh wow. That’s hilarious!
