I wonder how your trip went? Goodness, the weekend has already been and gone. (Did you walk in the rain, because we had lots of sun in Berkshire.)

I used to make them in some country we lived, and if you save tuna fish cans, or Thai curry paste cans or even catfood cans, you have rings!

Crumpets are easy to make ! I often make them although mine are Pikelets because I don’t use rings .It’s the same mix but they spread themselves out a bit as they’re not constrained. I use a griddle and make loads at a time to freeze for unexpected teatime-or anytime- guests

Elizabeth, when we left England, I bought the 296 box of PG Tips. I didn’t think I could make it without my tea!

And funny you should mention cheese. Roxi says she prefers the cheese in England. I am wondering if we can bring some extra mature cheddar back…

BTW, as an aside, I am thinking about getting a Kindle. I know I can’t access some of the functions here, but I am in dire need of BOOKS in English–and shipping over the channel can add up. Bee said you have one… Do you like it?
