Do you not just love this? LOOK at them!
I want to draw pretty hearts above their head, Chris. They’re darling.
wowza! my kids would have wanted to follow this couple – okay, I would have wanted to…where could they have been going, I bet their day was way more interesting that a normal one.
Julia, I was wondering the same thing–what were they doing, where were they going dressed like this? So much nicer than my jeans and t-shirt, that is for sure.
The English are indeed a strange breed, but very entertaining.
Stan, London is definitely a great place for people watching. I miss it :-)
Just seeing the London street makes my heart go pitty-pat! I miss it so!
Me too, Kathy! When we got there it didn’t feel like we had left at all. Very strange, that.
How elegant!
One of the things that I love about cities is that they inspire people to make more of an effort sartorially.
Bee, I told my husband that I need new clothes. After two years in the country, I fear my current wardrobe isn’t sufficient for town–London or Den Haag ;-) I just need a few classic pieces. Funny, I seem to have enough shoes… haha!
wonder what he does for a living?
I don’t know, but he has a nice briefcase, don’t you think? I hope they were going somewhere nice :-)
That’s quite a jacket, what a lovely scene. I like the gated barrier between pedestrians and vehicles. Nice touch!
Sukhmandir Kaur, you have a good eye! The iron gate is quite lovely.
Please tell me that guy just finishing riding a bike in the rain.
That can’t be that latest fad – say no.
Lisleman, this man’s suit stood out in London too. I am hoping they were off to the races. It was a bit too late for Ascot, but surely there was something?
Lovely!
Laurie, I love how the couple is holding hands. If you look closely, you can see the couple in front of them doing the same. Just too cute!
That is a classic shot! Really beautiful! And I love that yellow dress!
♥ Chaitra
Chaitra, I wish I had such a cheerful dress! I admit my wardrobe is full of black–very big city attire. I need more colours because, at least in the summertime, people dress brightly here in The Hague.
Great scene, JaPRA! You do have an eye for the interesting. These two look right out of a short story, don’t they? :-)
Fantastic Forrest, ah, yes they do. I’d love to know their story :-)
Great Shot, very interesting. I wondered… Are they local? What does the front of his suit look like?
sweet friend…get some bright scarves to dress up that black! …but don’t let them trail too far if you are cycling!
Ha! Absolutely :-)
