Trudy is so much more polite than Scout. Here is a letter I found behind the waste basket, written in Scout’s paw:

Dear Anybody with any kind of compassion;

Please find a home for my ‘owners’. There’s only so much I should be required to put up with.

Ah, no… only a dog hair-free zone. The upstairs is the cat’s domain! But I find dog hair gets everywhere and cats hair is at least confined to where they have plonked themselves.

Favourite place for Seth or Summer to sit at 7:25am: Emm’s freshly pressed black slacks.
