Okay, I love the cuff - you are good!

I have some cuffs from an artist called Regina Becker. Her website:
http://www.reginaannbeckerjewelry.com/

Are there shops where you live that you can get the materials to make things...are you even allowed to bring your tools over on the plane?

Really beautiful bracelet

What a fun interview! I too would love to see photos of some of your jewelry, since I love all things silver and have an addiction to earrings.

You know, as much as I would miss having my family close by, I think it would be hard to resist living abroad for a while. What a great opportunity for you all!

Julia, I don't have photos of most of my stuff... but here's a cuff bracelet I made a few years back. http://whereitalkaboutart.blogspot.com/2008/10/siver-cuff-bracelet.html

I don't have a torch or any of my big tools over here. I've only recently just made a couple of cold-connection rings. Hoping to do more metalwork in the near future.

great interview...except for the part about asking your age..geeze..only a boy would ask that!

so where are pictures of your metalworking?! what do you make...do you make bangles/cuffs?

by the way, I completely get it about the 7 dwarves...last year McDonalds had, as their happy meal toy, Madame Alexander Wizard of Oz dolls. A friend went to a couple of McDs to find all of them. I stopped at spending $20 so I don't have the complete set. They're now thrown in my daughter's stuff but at least I know they're there!
