oh yummy, nothing like the taste of home, although I have no idea where you are.
LOL, I didn’t think my non-Houstonian friends would know ;-) It sure was tasty!
Lupe Tortilla? Looks mouth watering good. Hope you are having a great time while home.
Tena, that is a good guess! Lupe’s is one of our favourites, too. But this is just on the other side of 59… Goode Co Taqueria ;-)
Mmmmmm…. nice!!! I liked the title “this is how I know I’m home” – Ohh I SO much know what you mean! :o)
I don’t know the names of famous diners or restaurants in Texas – but, Taco Bell? :o) El Taco Loco? Lol!
Enjoy!!! ANd Happy New Year to you and your family!!
Glukkig nieuw jaar, Aledys! I am filling up on Tex-Mex while we are here, but I’m starting to get a bit homesick for the Netherlands. I miss my stroopwafels in the morning ;-)
that must be tasty! :-)
It really was, Carmen! So tasty, in fact, that we’ve already been back once more since then :-)
Goode Co. Taqueria! Deliciosa!
I knew you’d get it, Mimsy! BTW, I drove by our old house the other day and went right past your street. Did you see me wave?
I don’t know where, but you can take me there.
Just don’t fly to Amsterdam right now!!
Chris, I know! It’s awful :-( The underwear bomber, not the food! The food was delish.
There’s no place like home as Dorothy said in the movie!!!

Dragonfly Lady, I keep telling myself that home is where the heart is, but I think in this case, home is where the Tex-Mex is, LOL!
Well, I’ve never been to Houston but I’ll take the NM food at Los Dos Molinas in Mesa AZ. Anytime.
Maureen, it must be all this spicy food we’ve been eating, but I was craving a road trip out west, some pinon coffee, and a green chili burger from New Mexico…
Oh yummeeeeee. I think it is time we visited our local Mexican restaurant again!
Emm, is there good Mexican in London?!
Well, not really but there is a passable one in Sidcup.
Goode Co. Taqueria. Duh.
Very “Goode”, John ;-)
I have to go here this summer. YUM!
i may save this pic to my computer to look at it every once in a while.
Ohhh, yum. You know, I think I only went there once while I lived in Houston. I’ll have to go again when I’m back in town for my defense! Glad you’re having a good visit. :)
