tell me about it…I love those waffle honey filled yummies!
Kathy, I’m trying to figure out how many calories are in one of those things… Maybe I don’t want to know!
Indeed, you do!!
Is that a “stroopwaffel”? I love those, yammmm!
Have a nice day! It’s sunny here in Zwollywood, I hope you get to see the sun over there, too.
Oh, yes, it is very much a delicious stroopwafe! Sadly it was my second one of the day. I need to cut back…
We had a peek at the sun this morning, but it’s been overcast and a little snowy this afternoon. I’m looking forward to Spring and better biking weather.
:-) Have a nice day!
Thanks Carmen! I felt much more awake after my second coffee :-)
Also me :)
Coffee..ha! It’s just an excuse for some more stroopwaffels.
btw, good for you biking on the snow!
Ah, Maureen, you do know me so well! ;-)
What a lovely photo! That looks really yummy.
They are scrummy! I am trying to cut back, though. I started Wii Fit last week and it is a little disturbing to see how long it takes to burn off one of those things… How’s *your* Wii Fit going?
I’m really, really enjoying it. I am up to 40-50 minutes a session and i can’t believe how quickly my strength is building up and how quickly you improve on things! It is the horrible, year end time of the year and I missed on Monday and Tuesday but hope to get back on the horse tonight.
So far, I am only barely burning off an ice cream cone in all that time.
How are you finding it?
I love it! I’ve just finished my first week. I upped my calorie burn to the ice cream cone and will probably up to the toast next week. I need to find out how many calories are in those stroopwafels. I’ve cut back to one a day…
What are your favourite workouts? I like marching band, step aerobics, downhill ski, golf, hula hoop, the penguin game, and running. I am awful at the games where you have to aim with the remote! ;-)
I like the marching band and step too. I also like the balance ones like the tilt ones. I try to do something different every day. I was going into that locker room and doing whole sets of workouts but my competitive nature took over. Now I just select activities from the main screen and play them until I get top score! I guess I should up to toast then too. I’m mostly obtaining the ice cream cone.
I just had my very first stroopwafel the other day, and I have to say- wow! They are delicious! I was curious though so i’ve been searching and what I have found for calories will scare you! Depending on the recipie used, the sites i found, list the calories for one stroopwafel at 5-600!!!
So I say goodbye to the stroopwafel, sad, but 500 calories lighter.
Or for me some mornings I know they’re going to be bad when I’m craving a Coke before 9 am.
Julia, Diet Coke was my drink of choice–in the morning and all day long. When me moved to England three years ago, a can of diet coke was $2 (with the exchange rate back then). That’s when I started drinking tea!
I love the mug
Me too, Christine. The design is of a painting Van Gogh made when his nephew was born called “Almond Blossom” http://www.vangoghmuseum.nl/vgm/index.jsp?page=3128&collection=1282&lang=en
It hangs in the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. As you might guess, it’s one of my favourites!
Can I come over to have one too?
Absolutely, Sarah! Anytime.
A cup of tea with a stroopwafel. The good old days, LOL
Hmm YUM! ;-). Thanks for sharing
