I see the Old Bailey! (I think). Have a fun visit, I am SO ENVIOUS!
Very good, Kathy! It was Old Bailey :-)
very cool shot!
Thanks, Laura :-)
not bad :)
That’s what I thought too, Julia ;-)
I don’t think London’s a beautiful city, but it is certainly interesting.
If you had been in Texas yesterday, you might have gotten snow!
Susan, I love London and her beautiful, old buildings, but there definitely are some parts of the city that aren’t as attractive :-)
I heard about that snow! Amazing.
You’re in LONDON?! Would you like to meet, or are you terribly, terribly overscheduled? In any case, have a gorgeous visit!
Kristen, ah, as you can see from my embarrassingly tardy reply, we were a little busy on this trip. However, I would love to meet you too. Perhaps sometime after we move back?
Great shot! Now, you know if you ever needed to, you could jump from rooftop to rooftop in a daring escape. If you were in an espionage film, of course! Otherwise, enjoy your return visit to London! yay!
Lucylucia, I adore the rooftops in England! They remind me so much of Mary Poppins: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu23HHmOG48&feature=related
And speaking of Mary Poppins, our hotel was practically on the steps of St. Paul’s Cathedrals. I kept thinking “feed the birds, tuppins a bag.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHrRxQVUFN4
you made it!
I did!!
Wow!:) i want to go to London too …
Carmen, I hope you do get to go :-)
I could live with that view.
Beth, it was pretty awesome!
I’m so impressed by how well you’ve all adapted to your nomadic life. It takes courage to perform at a new school like Roxi does. I love how you carry recipes with you and search for old favorites like Maple Syrup while still trying the new flavors such as Nutella. It must be fun to be back in London. Looking forward to hearing about you trip.
Sarah, I don’t know where Roxi gets her courage. She is amazingly brave.
We had a wonderful time in London!!
That’s quite an interesting view of the surrounding rooftops and buildings sandwiched together.
Isn’t it? London has such interesting architecture. I never get tired of looking at it!
What a beautiful photo! It is interesting, unlike your friend above, I do think that London is beautiful and I just love all of the old buildings.
I think London is beautiful too, Emm. I was giddy the entire time we were there.
BTW, I was near your office on Friday–and remembered the lovely lunch we had together last year :-)
Well, you know how polite I am so the very first time you get a spare minute, I will be ready and waiting for a sequel! There are so many nice places I’d like to try around here.
