Eeyore weather

It’s been dark and gloomy these last few days. Lots of  strong wind, rain, and occasionally some sleet. I wish someone would say: “April Fools! Here’s your beautiful Spring weather back.” [Edited 7:00 pm to add: Mother Nature took pity on us and offered a sun-filled afternoon. Still lots of wind, but I felt those warm rays... ahhhh!]

At least I can look out my window and see gorgeous daffodils in full bloom, clumped here and there along the canal near my house.

Meanwhile, today is a good day to sit down with many cups of tea and update my calendar (yikes, April already!), add on to my To-Do list for our move (trying not to panic), do a bunch of laundry for our upcoming holiday, and gunk out the guest room/studio.

There’s no Ask an Expat today. I wanted to do a post on men’s fashion for Duncan, but sorry friend, everyone is still so covered up that  you wouldn’t be able to see anything but their coats. Maybe later this month…

Oh wait, I do have a teen fashion photo I could share. I took it a few weeks ago because I thought the girls were really cute and obviously friends:

See what I mean? So much the same but still their own selves.

Also, this is my last post for this week. Mr. DJ has tomorrow off and I’m hoping he’ll spend it with me (hint, hint). Plus we’ll be leaving for our Spring Break trip on Saturday, so I’ll need a little time to organize our stuff.

BUT, I had such fun blogging in real time during our February trip to London that I’m planning to take you all along with us on this trip too–well virtually anyway, hee hee! I am not sure what the Internet connections will be like, but if we do have access, I’ll be blogging from… well, you’ll see :-)
