About the Author: JaPRA is an expat Texan living in England with her husband (Mr. DJ), their 17-year old daughter (Roxi), and their dog Trudy.

Haha; I love the last capture =) I can imagine the man in the beige coat thinking to himself (or it’d be what I’d think to myself if I were standing in his spot) “Aha! Conquered the trail!” =p
LOL! Maybe he took the lift, though ;-)
No kidding. That is amazing.
It was worth the hike!
JaPRA – this is the coolest series of pics – the view is amazing but it is so interesting to see people and what they’re doing too – I like the third from last – the guy holding his hands behind his back and, the last pic is priceless. I think he was thinking “One day, I’m going to own all of this.”
Great caption! He does seem very confident, doesn’t he?
I love people watching :-)
Indeed, beautiful view!! I love the last photo: the pose and the style of the gentleman and the DoF of the view. Very nice!!
Continue to enjoy, my friend!!
Thanks, Aledys :-)
Great series Japra. I see they are all wearing coats…hmmm. Coolish weather?
Yes, it was cool and a bit rainy that day. But the weather got better!
Ahhhhhh (this is a BIG sigh)
The views are spectacular. I need a vacation too!! I keep reading blogs of people who have been on vacation to the most wonderful places… Ahhh (another big sigh)
I’m sure you had a great time! It really shows from your breathtaking photographs. I read on a previous post that you’re moving? Where to?
Magda
Magda, we’re moving back to England at the end of June…
great to see so many people out enjoying the view!
I had fun drinking my tea and watching them :-)
I love the last photo! How is this for crazy – I dreamt last night that you were mailing me full dinners from Den Haag to “show me how the Dutch eat”. In my dream I was like, “well it’s is so nice of JAPRA to send these. I wonder if the food is still okay to eat? Maybe it’s gone bad? And I deliberated in my dream for forever about it!!” You just never know what random bits of flotsam is going to appear in your dreams. Funny!
Ha! That is hilarious!! I hope I sent you something lekker ;-)
So beautiful!
It was :-)
Funny series – your trip looks magical. No wonder you have vacation lag. My favorite image is of that tree before the sky colored sea. You make me want to travel too. Good luck with your house hunting and the move. It’s good you had this perfect vacation first.
Thanks, Sarah! It really was a good thing we had this holiday first. Moving is no fun :-(
Wow what a breathtaking view and memorable too apparently, because though I visited France 50 years ago as a child of seven, with my parents, it seems very familiar.
Sukhmandir, it must have been a magical visit!
I love that whole area of the Maritime Alps – Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo – and have been several times, most recently this past October for my 65th birthday. The scenery is so stunning there, with the panoramas of the cliffs above the Mediterranean.
Carmen, I think that sounds like a perfect way to celebrate your special birthday! I am a great believer in birthday travel :-)
The scene looks so… European. Nothing like that on this side of the pond. Sightseeing is a fun past time on the continent.
Those red tile roofs make the scene, I think :-)
dispenses use a fantastic ınternet site decent Gives appreciate it for the working hard to help everyone
