Saturday in London

There was a delicious, cool breeze over the Thames
as we crossed the Jubilee Bridge.
These helped cool us off too. Mr. DJ and Roxi had Cookies and Cream and Coffee. I had Mango.
For books, we went to Foyles and
Blackwells on Charing Cross. We also went to Denmark Street to check out music equipment. We’re looking for a piano amp for Roxi.
And LOOK what we found. Chipolte’s! We never ate at this restaurant in the States, but we were frequent visitors of Mission Burrito. I have to say we were a bit overwhelmed by the serving sizes here. Guess we’re not used to that anymore. The burrito was yummy as was the salsa, but the guac could have used a tad bit more oomph. Mr. DJ said, “Now we never have to go back to Texas!” Only joking ;-)
Found these Pterosaurs on the South Bank. There are always surprises in London :-)

It looks like Jurassic Park in London
you sound happy to be back in London.
What wonderful photos! Make me SO “homesick”! I’m so happy for you being back in England.
So cool…you are lucky to move so close one hour time change easy peasy! I look forward to hearing and seeing your next chapter in London.
Yikes, I leave my computer for a few days and you’ve already moved! How wonderful and exciting for Roxi by the way to study music so intensely!
no, you really should still come back to texas! we’ve got WAY better than just chipotle! :)
OH MY GOSH!!! There’s a Chipotle in London?! I guess now I really have to visit.
We visited the Blue Bell Factory today in Brenham. Yum.
Oh, were you walking around in the bookstore saying to yourself “And that one’s in English…and that one too!” That’s what I would have done.
Yes, all those books. We are always so sorely tempted but suitcases have their limits.
Looks like you had one of those perfect English summer days!
Chipotle looks great! I shall have to give them a try next time I am in central London. We were there on Sunday but we’d already booked at the Ruby Blue.
