Tomorrow!

I’ve been shoving stray books into the bookshelves. That over stuffed book on top is a travel journal I made earlier this year. It’s holding my notes from the France/Italy trip we took over spring break. I am hoping to get those Italy posts up before the end of summer!

The movers are coming tomorrow morning at 9am to start boxing up our stuff. They’ve estimated two days to pack and half a day to load the truck. It’s so exciting!!

Roxi has one more get-together today.

It’s beautiful here–sunny and about 54F.

That’s all for now.

I do pretty much the same, I shove books, booklets, brochures, maps, etc. in between books on the bookshelves, hoping to be able to sort them out one day not too far away :o)
Good luck with the moving! England is waiting…. she’s even put the kettle on for a cuppa already! :o)

Movers always seem so much more efficient than I am at packing. Three moves ago, one mover packed my kitchen in under 3 hrs, it would have taken me several days back then.

Lately things are going faster. Last weekend I got moved out of my storage locker (5 x 15) in a couple hours with help of 3 friends, my car and a trailer. We made two trips. I was amazed!

    Happy moving!

that’s a well-loved looking bookshelf! Nice photo. Good luck, it’s sad and yet exciting I’m sure.

I know it will all go well but it is a difficult thing to go ‘through’. I posted a list for Roxi yesterday – hope she gets a kick out of it as I bet about 1/3 at least are true for her now.

I hope you get to stay in a nice hotel the next 3 days!

I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow! Hope all goes smoothly!

  8. Holding thoughts for you of an easy move, although that just might be an oxymoron.

You are so good to take notes on your holidays and then to get them organized in a notebook. Do you have a routine for doing that?

As for stray books, I wonder how many are lurking under my bed? That picture is really appealing to me.
